Genevieve Dawson is a singer-songwriter originally from Edinburgh and now based in South-east London. At the heart of her songs is an arresting honesty, a directness and warmth that has caught the attention of London's alt-folk scene. After a stint living in Cairo and Morocco with only her guitar and a book of words to write with, she returned to London with new sounds and stories to tell, and joined the likes of James Blake and Rosie Lowe to continue her studies at Goldsmiths, University of London. She is joined in her band by fellow Goldsmiths alumni, multi-instrumentalist Rick Leigh and drummer Danny Trouton.

Her debut EP, 'Things My Mother Tells Me' is due for release in August 2017
